The Estonian Care about IT project team kicked off the autumn season with a two-day partner meeting on Muhu island, bringing together project partners to discuss the future of healthcare and digital innovation.
During the meeting, project partners addressed the current realities and growing challenges facing healthcare systems, focusing on how health technologies can help mitigate increasing pressures on healthcare delivery and financing. The discussions highlighted the importance of innovative digital solutions and high-quality health technology education in supporting more sustainable, efficient, and patient-centred healthcare services.
The meeting also marked another important milestone in the development of Work Package 7 (WP7) micro-credentials. Through a co-creation workshop, partners validated the work completed so far, reviewed the proposed learning outcomes, and agreed on the next development steps. The collaborative process reinforced the value of combining expertise from healthcare providers, educational institutions, and technology companies to create educational solutions that meet real sector needs.The partner meeting brought together partners from:

The meeting also provided an opportunity to acknowledge the recently signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between CoNurse and Gabriel Scientific, further strengthening collaboration between the project partners and supporting the project's long-term objectives.
The discussions once again demonstrated that practical cooperation between partners with complementary expertise is essential for developing sustainable healthcare solutions and advancing health technology education that equips current and future professionals with the skills needed in a rapidly evolving healthcare landscape.
