We wrapped up the final day of our exchange week at the DCTerra location in Meppel. After a warm welcome and excellent coffee, we kicked off the morning by exploring several challenges in our country-based groups. This gave everyone the chance to discuss in their own language, align perspectives, and record the outcomes in Padlet so we can process everything digitally later on.
The discussions were so engaging that we had to make an effort to guide the groups into the next part of the program!
Next, Sonja shared the developments within her care programme, highlighting the progress made over the past years in integrating care technology and innovation. Her story offered an impressive and inspiring look into the evolution of their curriculum.
After that, students from Sonja, Ilse and Melanie took the floor. They presented the products they are working on, as well as the challenges they encounter along the way. This sparked lively interaction and meaningful exchanges between everyone present.
At 12:15, we wrapped up the week with a quick round of takeaways — a moment to reflect on what we learned and achieved together. The Estonian delegation prepared their take-away lunch before heading home, while the rest enjoyed a relaxed lunch and the opportunity to reflect and connect once more. And then… it was time to say goodbye.
It was an energetic, impressive, collaborative and inspiring week. We look back with joy, satisfaction, and a renewed sense of motivation.
We now look forward to the outcomes of the podcast, visual recording and video compilation of this week.
A big thank you to all our teachers, the participating locations, and our partners:
ZINN de Burcht, Koninklijke Visio de Brink, Interzorg de Hoprank, and Veenstra Busreizen. Without you, this week would not have been possible.
