Yesterday we started the day at the Edtechlab in Groningen, at the ICT programme on the Muntinglaan. Rachel guided us through VR, XR and other tech developments that the ICT programmes are creating together with the healthcare programmes.
It was a morning full of hands-on experiences and experimenting, and several participants joined the podcast that André was recording. In this podcast we discussed the different topics we work on within Care about IT.
And compliments to everyone who took the time to join in — speaking English into a microphone is quite a challenge!
After a delicious lunch, wonderfully arranged by Farnwerd and supported by building manager Harry and catering professional Wilma, we enjoyed a well-deserved break.
At 13:15 we took the bus to Hoogezand, to Zinn – De Burcht, to learn more about how they integrate health tech into both the building and the care they provide.
We were warmly welcomed by Ine Berkelmans, who shared their developments with us. Afterwards, we split into smaller groups to explore various aspects of their approach. Very inspiring — and what a beautiful building.
We then travelled back to Groningen, where the group had some free time to explore the city. A few chose to climb the Martinitoren, and once again we could enjoy the wonderful weather.
At 18:00 we gathered at Mr. Mofongo for a culinary world-travel experience and to reflect on the day together. Around 22:00 we wrapped up — tired, satisfied, full of impressions, and with our bags filled with gifts to take home.
